She sat quietly, wings pulled lightly around her to shield from the cold that the simple fire could not quite quench. Silent, she listened to Invellios and Zen, studying the features of both faces and watching the slender images that occasionally whisped around them. The Avatar had none, but the boy was occasionally surrounded by the swirl of blood.

That could be taken two ways.

She listened, and watched for more hints as to the strange attraction that had brought her here. perhaps it was the gold in the eyes, a similarity she had found in none but her long dead grand mother. Another Seer. She was doubtful.
