Raken poked his head out of...space, as though behind an invisible curtain was covering him, like a cloak.

"You need somethin'? ...Oh wait, I remember now, you're Shirow's lil trainee, or somethin' like that."

He pulled back a curtain, revealing the open door to his lab from under the curtain refracting the light to make it seem like it wasn't there. An oxygen mask was on Shirow's face just inside the door, and he had was looked like a simple IV strapped to his arm. Raken looked over his shoulder.

"Damn bastards literally suck his energy from him to the point of almost killing him. Assholes. I've got a dilute solution of Senzu juice on him, but with all my shit in disorder, I can't find the concentraited shit. He's be up and running circles if I could find it. But that...that...what's his name, Ass-amodium? Whatever. Bet it was him that jacked with my shit."

He turned his black-green eyes back to Shin.

"Care to lend me a hand?"
