In reply to: Crystin 's message, "response" on 13:18:15 10/11/02 Fri

My heart is pounding, as fierce as a goblin pounding upon the drums of war. I could feel each delicate move of my body as a complete unity of myself, though it response was tender at best. Still having the freshness that new nerves experiance...painful, yet somewhat enjoyable.

I've been running like this, in a pace that I never thought I could keep up for so long...four hours in fact. My new doeskin boots masking my trek, giving the illusion of when I left my body...I must say it was quiet a boost to my ego, to be so silent...so stealthy.

My short midnight blue hair was a banner in my wake, my entire body leaning forward into the run, impatiant to arrive at my destination, even as the unknown mentor's voice continued to pound as loud as his heart, however the voice did not echo out from that organ....

You are a Saiya-jin at heart, but simply losing yourself to your fury won't trigger your races evolution..nor will it cause my races transformation...I don't want to risk what will happen if those two somehow merged

I sigh. In the last hour of the lecture, all he spoke of was the rage that seemed to be my hertiage, yet I have yet to show any signs of it. Also the new legacy of Forbiddion, a force Kami refuses to tell me anything about...I guess he thinks I would be tempted if I knew.

The wind felt like pure bliss, caressing the bare skin of my face as if ending the mental exploration of the past days, trying still to fence in the important infomation and go over it...yet as always, too much has happened, leaving my own thoughts tumbling in chaos.

I didn't even see him coming, the large dark shape leaping out of the high grass, bearing nothing but it's own brute strength and the surprize of the attack, two hands stretching out to rake the boy, or perhaps even impale him using the boy's own force against him.

However, simply because I didn't see him, doesn't mean I didn't know he was there, I smelled him...cause vampires stink as bad as...well..shit. Geez, vampires must not realize the fact, cause the fooll was simply downwind of me...could smell em a mile away..

The mental jokes ended there, I let himself trip, diving my body underneath the rush, moving myself over as I slammed my shoulder into the other's kneecap, totally shattering my momentum and the other's leg. Quickly rolling to the side, both scimitars snapping out of their sheaths in one smooth motion as I stood up....to gaze at no one?

Jesus, he's fast....

My back suddenly exploded in white hot pain, cascading all over my body in a brief flash of stars as I rolled forward in reflex, trying to avoid as much damage as possible, fiercly shaking my head as I tried to remove those bothersome stars infront of my eyes...

Again reflex saved me, for the other had drawn some kind of strange twohanded blade, and a tentative swipe of my scimitar caught it nicely in the hilt. Still blinded by the kick to my back, I poked my other blade forward, rewarded with the feel of metal passing thru flesh, a bright garnet flash resounding across the blade, alightning it in a fiery nimbus.

As if some strange signal, my feet were in a blurring action, snapping my other scimitar free as I no longer fought with a slight twinge of fear in my heart. He must have sensed this, regarding my movements in surprize as I started to move at a alarming rate of grace, each blade dancing it's own waltz. Thrust, twist, withdraw. Each time the keen edge cutting across the vile bloated corpse, the argent light returned in full force. After a few minute of working the vampire into a pure defensive postion, I simply smiled and shoved both swords, into the beasts belly...letting the last sight he would ever see be my emerald eyes...my extreme pleasure at killing this creature was beyond any esctasy I've ever known. Kicking the dead vampire off the twin blades...I simply smiled...

Then I broke into another run, leaving my scimitars out in my eagerness to kill. I had time enough to slay another vampire or two before the next sunrise...
