Suddenly a sharp tingle shot down his spine, as Al'yander's dream once again hit the moment of when all the screams stopped, and silence was the last thing of which he could hold dear. Being startled awake, he look about his surroundings. Totally confused as to the cause of the sudden onslaught of fear upon his mind, he began to survey the grassy knoll arround him. Tranquility and Equalibrium were two of the many words of which first entered his train of thought. Of which was followed by mass hunger...

How long had he been sleeping for? He had no idea, and most likely nobody did, but Zenra of course. But it was undisturbed, nonetheless. Trying to gain access to one of his few new found memories, was the direction of which the small town a one....

...Zenra, yes that is her name, had shown him where to find eat and drink. Unfortunatly, to his own dismay, Al'yander could not place a face to her name...But with determination, he set off in what he felt was the correct direction. He walked. One thing he does remember very clearly was that he still needed much practice on the whole flying bit. Pulling off his tattered weather-beaten cloak, he shouldered his weapon, and set out under the middays sun. Over the fields of grass his Chromatic wings and hair stood out like a sore thumb, as the sun burned with all its might. Even his skin, of which was rather pale white, had metallic light-reflective properties.

After a rather pleasent four hours of strolling through field after field of wildgrass and wildflowers, his sense of direction had proven worthy of a treat, just off in the horizon lie a town. If it was the same town as before he know not, nor did it really matter to him, it was a town and that is all that mattered.

It was a rather small, out-of-the-way town where everybody likes things the way they were, and for the most part changes was not nessisarily a good thing. Being driven by a rather overwhelming hunger, Al'yander proceeded on with great haste, for he wished to once again enjoy the fruitful nature of a full belly and of fine spirits. Almost bursting through the swing-doors of the towns tiny tavern, everybody inside stopped what they were doing, just to gaze at the new stranger in town.

"Isn't this just great, I have been here for two seconds and already I am the center of attention...." Al'yander thought to himself.

Quickly weaving through the pattern of tables, he firmly secured himself a table off in a quiet nook. Now sitting in the midst of the tavern was a pale-but-sparkly strangler with a large weapon sheathed to his back, talk about getting looks that would sour the sweetest flower. Filled with resolve, he sat there waiting to be served. Then once again from places unknownst to him, another shiver of fear shot down his spine. Something was amiss, and it did not bode well....
