Wyrd took it, the pain, the feeling of being run through by bladed wings. Even as the wings withdrew, the wounds began to mend, but he made no attemtpt to strike. He didn't need to. Zenra was already winning, and she hadn't even raised a hand.

Her eyes softened even more at the display before her, even as the blade stopped only inches from her face and wavered there.

"My dearest Kami."

She passed the dagger to her other hand, while her sword hung at her side on its long tethers of leather. Then she raised her empty hand and put it along the flat of the blade, and pushed it down gently, no resistance from the other side.

"Kyuuyaku no Kyuusai, my love." Promise of Salvation.

"Together?"
