Sun-Descending was just in sight, the thick feeling of magic hang in the air like a cool fog. They knew she was coming, but why was the question they probably were asking.

Ariel smiled to herself, her wings locked in a glide position. Something off in the distance, however, glinted black in the sun, and it caught her eye. She stopped and hovered in the air, concentrating on the point so far away that glittered like a small star in the sky.

"....Dragon."

Her eyes widened with the realization, and she resumed her current course toward the land, the amber colored sand almost seemed to glow with the sun itself. Great wings of color flashed small prisms over the surface of the water. Her hair wiped over her eyes, and she hoped to the Goddess the dragon hadn't seen her as well, and wasn't going to follow her.

"I can take a dragon...but from this feeling, I don't want to -meet- this one."

A great flap of her wings propelled her forward even faster, and she vaguely wondered how she was going to be welcomed.

"Ariel's not dangerous."

Darker hued prismed eyes rested on the old elf before him before she left, leaving him clothes he had no idea how he was going to get into. He wasn't even sure he could stand, let alone walk. Gingerly he swing his legs over the side of the bed. He took the shirt first and put it on before he was going to try to stand. Then he took off the pants that he had on and replaced them with the silk ones he was given.

"Now for the moment of truth..." he whispered to himself and slid off the bed onto the floor, feet first. Resting his weight against the bed, he stood, a little shakily, but stable. "Not as bad as I thought." he commented softly with a smile and stood straight....before nearly falling backwards. He grabbed the bed and kept himself from falling.

"Ok, wings you moron, wings." he shook his head at himself and folded his wings more, bringing them in closely to his body. Then he tried again, more success on the second try.

He heard calls from outside, signaling that someone on approaching, and that they were very close.

He made his way, slowly, to the front door of the house, and looked outside, leaning against the frame. Then he just walked out, no shakes or unbalence. Something was happening off in a far off plane, and it was radiating massive amounts of energy.

His goddess' symbol glowed ethereally on his forehead, and he watched the rainbow-sparkling speck grow as it approached.

He dared to dream.
