With his mistress mounted, he stood back up, facing toward the shadows of the trees. As his eyes started to glow their natural color of red, the bright colored plume on his head faded to transparent, shadowed.

Shadows themselfs seemed to come alive and slithered along the ground and he walked forward, into the embrace of darkness, and disappeared into the shadows to the shadow realm.

The light faded behind them, but the gleam of many eyes welcomed then.

"Colnae! Show yourself."

The curtain of eyes that was a wall of shadowchildren moved apart, and revealed the old looking shadow cat, gray rather than the deep black of his children. But he was a shadow none the less. He stood, his long legs carrying him foreward in only a few strides.

Miyu... Miyutoo come, we have much to do to save your brother.
