There was a soft ripping sound as something or someone released the Weave from them. Miles away a strand of invisible energy fluttered on the breeze, detatched, broken. Irreversable. Only Grace could fix it now.

Multiprismed eyes gazed up toward the sky to the clouds. There was an uncanny peace hovering about her. The quiet was unnerving. Even as the clouds gathered and darkened, drizzling down water to the ground. The soft patter of rain the only sound.

Ariel sighed, ever so faintly as a tiny smile crept on her lips, a piece of her gone forever. She would not miss Nystka, gods knows that essence made her life a living hell. She expected Zigorot would eventually come back for her, finding his misstress gone without any means of retreaval. Then perhaps try to kill her, or maybe, just maybe, let her heal him, back to years before he was subdued and made as a slave to the Dark Infinity. Or maybe he would become the Crystal Dragon's little whore.

For once, she didn't know. The visions flowed slowly, ebbing over great expances of darkness. Glimmer of things to come, and they were faint and fading. Perhaps her own time was nearing. She was old, older than she could remember.

Maybe the waning visions was a sign that is was finally time to put the prophecies aside, and sleep. Blissful dreamless sleep. Something well earned. She'd had after all done all she had been destined for.

What was there left for her now?
