The gash along her ribs had closed almost completely, the muscles relaxing as flesh knit itself into a seamless whole. Clowie had said nothing more on the subject of the Weave, and had fallen into a thoughtful silence, her gaze moving from Lashana's face to the surrounding forest as though she was seeking some kind of answer from the vegetation all around them. The Weave sang a bright note of relief, a single trill announcing that another vampire had been removed so that it could no longer touch and taint the Weave. Closing her eyes briefly she touched the last tainted threads to see how many remained. She was rather surprised when she only saw two, leaving one unaccounted for. Perhaps the one that was missing had been destroyed when she had escaped into her own mindrealm, away from everything and everyone. Two remained, the one that had stolen Elrihm's essence and the one that had stolen Vlono's. Two more to go and she could release the hold on the Weave again, so that those who had earned the right to use it as a method of transport could. Perhaps that was the congestion that Clowie had spoken of, the inability of those trying to use the Weave as a mode of transport being blocked from doing so.
