Indigo waves of grass.

The sapphire plains seemed to lack its usual luster today, Ariel thought. Something was amiss. Was that something silver in the grass?

It made no sound flowing easily through the grass as though it was water. The grass split easily out of its path, and then whipped back into place. It reached its destination in a matter of moments. Ariel backed up and gasped as a huge serpentine head ringed with a plume of scaled feathers rose from the grass before her. Two huge horns curved upwards from the back of its head gracefully, and a pair of huge scale-feather wings broke free from the grass as well.

Its mouth gapped open just a crack for its huge black forked tongue to dart outwards and taste the air around the Forgotten.

"Zigorot..."

Ariel whispered the name, this thing was the dark Queseqotal. She was frozen, looking into its jet black eyes, her mind screaming for her to move.

Zigorot swayed back and forth like a cobra, moving its huge body through the grass and coiled around the woman, its silver scales unharmed by the instinctual change of feathers to blades on the woman's wings. With Ariel in its coils, it lowered its head to be eye to eye with the woman, entrancing her with its onix eyes. Its mouth gapped again and it breathed a vapor onto the woman. Then it smiled, showing rows of golden teeth.

Prismatic eyes rolled back and Ariel's head fell back onto the round coils enveloping her. Its huge scalefeather wings spread and its tongue darted out and tasted her flesh. Zigorot had to refrain from devouring the woman right there. Instead it just stared downward on the woman, and continued to breath its vapor onto the woman while it waited for its partner to arrive.
