In reply to: Kyuusai 's message, "In answer to Chaos" on 10:34:31 07/22/02 Mon

"Th..the..they..they're gone? No more of those vermin to hunt down?"

Stammering aloud, though the voice/image was only present in her mind, she sank down onto a log in disblief. The gentle rush of energy that filled her being though gave truth to Kyuusai's words. The pain and fatigue vanished, she felt renewed and revived. Smiling a little, she did as Kyuusai had requested, and with a twist on the energies binding the Weave shattered the final fragment, releasing the Weave to flow as it pleased. Sending out a mental call, she recalled the wolves and the hawk. When all of the pack had settled around her feet and Kyrr perched on her shoulder she reached into the earth's web of energies, a web that stood apart from the Weave, an endless supply of power for those that knew how to tap it, and created a simple portal home. The spell that would allow her to transport herself was not one she could use on the others....although she might be able to get away with Kyrr with that spell. Using a portal made it possible to return all of the pack to their accustomed hunting grounds, without having them retrace their path home.

Stopping at the Falls, she reached down and pulled out an odd shaped, smooth stone from the water. Violet eyes saw an image in the stone, though at present it had yet to be carved. The stone, when it was finished would resemble Kyuusai, complete with energies flowing around him. It would give her something to do, and she would be able to add it to her collection of miniature statues.
