Subject: Just for once...

It was a dramatization of total chaos, a functional definition of confusion, an unchoreographed dance of sad violence. It was war.

Once.. Just for once... I would like to see a world of sadness reduced to joy, a characture of humanity drawn within real proportions. I would like to watch that single underdog, he who stands alone with only Fate's hand to guide him, be it towards death or a life more resplendant than any yet offered during mortality. I want to see the victor as darkness, he who falls as an unimaginable nothing. I want to be surprised. End these dreams, remove the predictability of day to day life. Last night I saw a sunrise, broken on jagged mountain peaks and torn into shreds of clouds, glowing like smoke from some dormant dragon's nostril. Tonight I see that sunset mimicked. I am growing tired of the displays.

I felt the other Escalvone, felt his winds pass by as though far beyond and above me. He was near, but now he is not. I wonder at it. No dreams of him, not even his face. And yet I cannot shake the feeling that we have met.
