So a mere snake thinks it can cause more trouble than we?

Rusty eyes met that of those that were his children, the shadow watchers. He was the oldest, the wisest, but far from the most powerful. That he left to his children. He had brains, not the brawn of youth. But he wasn't without his sly and michievious ways.

As the cats we resemble, let us ..."play" with the snake. Go, my children, have fun.

The snake hissed and spit at each shadow creature that popped up from the shadows. Then encircled it, and began to play. One popped up from the ground and struck the snake on the side. Hissing, it lunged, but missed, only hitting ground.

Let the games begin.
