The mare bounded swiftly over meadow and stream, her hooves drumming against raw earth. With one stride they had cleared the pasture wall, though the mare did not let Gypsy dismount. Instead she continued on through an archway, which brought them to a long cobbled row. Lights of the celebration were seen at the other end.
