The unipeg struggled against the scaly fist. He was to serve his master, even through death. He did not choose this task, he was ordered to it, and if he disobeyed?... great pain...

Andewen stepped cautiously into the musty room, her eyes adjusting to the dim light. Glancing around, she saw barrels and caskets of wine, no doubt this was a cellar of some sort. There was a shuffle in the dirt floor as a mouse scurried past her feet. "At least it wasn't a rat," she breathed.
