The mare stopped. Before them was an open dell, and they stood upon a cliff-top overlooking it. Below a river flowed freely through the middle, and trees covered the far-most end. There were the most beautiful buildings of wood and stone before the visitors, as if they blended in perfectly with the scenery. Hundreds of tall, fair people danced, sang, conversed and ate in the open space. Their hair, whether dark or flaxen, shone in the moonlight. All of them could well reach the bottom-most branches of a tree (seven feet tall atleast). All of them had point-tipped ears, and eyes, no matter what color, that were bright and beautiful.

The mare let Gypsy dimsount, then spoke through the wind, This is Serindell, my home. Turning right, Wind Spirit followed a steep path down the face of the cliff to the grassy meadows and gardens below.
