"I would be honoured if you would become my friend. I have been on the road for oh so long, with no one to talk to accept Leo." She patted her horse's neck. She brushed her dark hair away from her green eyes. Without slipping, she leaned over her light-weight saddle and whispered something into her golden horse's ear. After a breif moment of silence, she nodded. "May I trust you with something of great secrecy?" Kari asked the unicorn. She had not put her hand on the unicorn to talk, but they still were able to communicate. This puzzled Kari for she hadn't known of this special gift. But she sat there, wanting to know if someone other than herself and Leo would finally know her secret.
