I don't know. Thankfully, only people cause confusion and not the Lord!

Tom, many different people wrote many different stories, views, opinions, about the many belief systems/religions all over this planet; many apparently are mainly concerned with getting the best possible, plausible sales literature, preachings, etc. to prospective members.
..... Christianity membership at one time was ONLY accessible to high-quality/morality people, but after Jesus had been killed by the Romans many unauthorised changes to Christianity were made, many new versions were invented and priority was on maximizing the number of members (read: their money), never mind their quality.

The bible is the word of god? What complete nonsense!

The old testament was supplanted by the new testament because the god described by the old testament was a psychopath. Don’t you find it rather strange the christian god never heard of bacteria, viruses, different suns, different galaxies, a round earth, or the earth circling a star?

The word of the biblical god is all but useless in an educated society. And the biblical god is described completely differently by not only different religions, but by members of the same cults -- often members of the same church will commit crimes using the bible as justification those sitting beside them on any given Sunday find abhorrent.

Christianity and the bible are business tools...nothing more, nothing less. The satan you seem to fear so much has far less innocent blood on his hands than the christian god. I wouldn’t give you a dime for either of them.

You're absolutely right (except that Christianity was not founded until after Jesus' death, as His disciples were charged with the duty to found the Church.)

I've been reading some of your posts on other boards, and I notice that you're quite adamant about religions, in general, being based on unreliable texts and marketed primarily to generate revenue. There's no doubt that this is true to an alarming degree, but don't let that deter you from seeking the Truth. I'm sure Satan loves nothing more than to see people turn away from God because of the sinful deeds of people who claim to be doing God's work.

A religion is not something one shops for and bases their "purchase" on what seems to fit their lifestyle the best. I personally am not a member of any particular religion. I simply believe in the Bible as being the inerrant word of God. I realize that the corruption of the Christian faith over the last 2000 years was caused by man, yet God's word has stood steadfast through it all.

Everything ever prophesied in the Bible to have happened by now has happened, and there's no doubt in my mind that the prophesies of the future will happen. No part of the Bible has ever been disproven. God's word existed before the universe, and it will live for all eternity.

God is the beginning and the end. He created all things seen and unseen. He gave us His words to live by, and through His grace and mercy, offers us a free opportunity to be with Him forever. He is the almighty, living creator who bestows His blessings on His faithful children.

If you want to know this truth and feel His presence in your life, then seek Him with perserverance. Don't give up because there's a guy on TV wearing an alb and asking for all of your hard-earned money. The Lord does not teach deception or greed. He will, however, come into your heart if you ask Him to. Does that sound a little too supernatural to you? It should. It is.

This is where Bhudda, Apollo, Baal, and a gazillion other gods fall waaaay short. Those gods are dead. Jesus Christ lives, and He will come back to rule sovereign over all the earth.

Tom
