She had given up pacing the apartment - he was usually home by now and so she figured that if he was going to come back tonight, it would be at some unknown time and she might as well just relax for now. Sleep was impossible though, and she was just curled up in bed in a white camisole and matching underwear with the lights on in the room, flipping through the television channels. At the knock, she jumped in surprise and surpressed a yelp, eventually sitting up slowly.
