Hi I'm Erin I've been doing Irish Dancing in the South Amboy class for 2 years. I want to change classes to Holmdel for my third year (this year). Hello Guinness World Record Holders, supporters and fellow organizers,
I hope you all enjoyed your summer and the transition back to school for the kids has not been too difficult. Speaking as a parent, back to school good not come fast enough. By now, anyone who ordered a certificate should have received it, I hope the kids liked them. I am writing to let you know that the new Guinness Book of World Records will be coming out soon and yes we are in the book.
I also felt you should know that there has been a some activity surrounding our Guinness World Record which you may find of interest. As you will see I have expressed my doubts about the validity of their attempt since they were in a circle not a straight line. You too can express your opinion about it in the blog section. I also have been in touch with Guinness to inquire about the validity of the attempt.

in which there appears to be a strong desire to get the record back to Ireland. While we have not been made aware of any official recognition of the record being broken, I thought you all should know that there are a few who are trying. An email was sent out this past week about a South Amboy danceout. I have only heard from about 2-3 people and I had 3 people already (so around 6). The show is for the fireman's car show. The fireman are VERY good to us when it comes to dancing in the firehouse. I only have 5-6 dancers. I would like to put together at least a 15-20 minute show for them. I am asking for any level dancers to dance. Dancers must arrive at 9:45am for an 11am show. Is anyone out there who would want to help me out? --email me at jjhester@optonline ......thank you! Other things to remember while I am at it (in no particular order)....
bloomers, socks or tights + extra, dress(es)/pants&shirt, wig/bun, soft and hard shoes, makeup, glue, tanning supplies, bobby pins, hairspray, tape, practice\regular clothes, bathing suit (for when you are all done dancing), team member phone numbers, camera, ipod, cell phone / ipod / and camera chargers!, asprin, cold remedies (hopefully not needed), food, money, airline tix, hotel confirmation info
um.... crystals and glue, if necessary. ;-)
