she stands stone still, only flicking her ears back toward the voice of who she thought was her true love. she shakes her head* No! *she cries out in despair* I just can't bear it *she also couldn't bear the thought of leaving, but just had to gallop like the wind once more. She gallops furiously to another side of the tt. she stands still again, watching the sunset. Her blood red mane lifting gracingfully off her shoulders, her long tail streaming out behind her. ~Why?~ she thinks ~Why does everything have to happen to me? I though I'd beable to visit home, visit Dad(Eagle), I thought Mum (Diam) would always be there. I knew I could always count on Crys-until death.~ her sobs growing louder every moment, suddenly stop. though tears still cascade down her perfect, Arabian/saddlebred face, they fall silently. She looks over the horizon, wishing more than ever that her deceased family would be alive again. Then suddenly she saw a figure over the horizon

he nickers to her. once by her side, he nuzzles her. *Oh, Jewl! I'm so sorry, I wish I hadn't perished so soon after you set out into the world. But don't be fooled. I know everything that has happened to you. I wish most of it hadn't, but i've found that sadly, most good things end before their time *the elderly ghost stallion smiles, and his face is still full of life. He is quite visible, and you can feel him. It was if he was mortal, and alive. But he wasn't, he could visit like a normal horse, but was unable to live like one.* Now, I must go. I will report back to your mother, and don't you worry. We'll all be together, up there, someday *he smiles and instead of turning and trotting out, he never turned, but simply floated on air, up and out, back into his home in the heavens.
Jewl watched her departing body of her father, and a new set of tears started a fresh water fall, that was quiet, but not so much as it used to be. She crumbles to the ground, happy to have seen her father, but now she didn't know what to do. ~Should I go join them up there now? Should I just run away as far and fast as I can? Should I try to win appin back? Should I fight for him?~ She didn't know what to do, but joining her family in the heavens was looking pretty good to her. she looks back over her shoulder at appin, as if waiting for him to do something that would effect her decision. in the back of her mind though, she could hear her mother's wise voice whispering: always fight for what you love, honey, always!
