Pride bursts into a gallop. Seeing that the mare is still a good deal in front of him. He stretches out his strides longer and his body closer to the ground. When Surf pulls away again the stallion really starts to dig in. He moves closer to the water, where the sand is firmer. He raises his head relishing the feel of the run, the ocean breeze whipping thru his mane and tail, the surf jumping up and splashing his belly and the clean scent of ocean air. The stallion laughs again as a large wave crashes into his legs knocking him off balance for a stride. Not wanting to be beaten Pride tosses his head and really flies. In a matter of seconds the gap between them got smaller as he drew closer. Grinning to himself he lengthens his stride yet again with amazingly long sweeping strides his legs flash out in front of him. He pulls even with Surf Dancer and bumps into her. He flashes her a grin and pulls ahea dof her.
