The conservatives sold off the royal mail to a substandard private corporation (among many other government-run programs), and now only 3 out of 10 of the mail I get from family in England actually reach me. I wasn't surprised at all to find out that there were conservative politicians with stocks and money in these private companies that bought the goverment run companies for a fraction of what they were worth either.
I voted labour when I was in England, and I'd still vote labour if I were there now. The mess the tories left behind was shocking, Tony Blair has done well in my opinion, considering it is he that has to clean up the massive piles of shit Maggie and John left behind >:|
