Subject: He was paying attention - fairly closer attention actually - especially after he became more aware that she wasn't just rambling on about random things, but that her chatting was about all important things. Leaning back against the counter, he listened and just waited to slip in his words whenever there was a pause - as she switched from topic to topic or took a breath. "Yeah, I don't like the guy either. He's a jerk."

She shook her head. "It's his job to check those ropes before you guys run, and he knew she was first so he kept them loose on purpose, I just know it. Broke three of her ribs." She shook her head with a sigh. "He finally ended up going to far with Skye and she filed a complaint - it got her out of the agency the first time which was what she wanted but then she had go back and get back into it."
