EAST ATLANTIC TROPICAL WAVE INTRODUCED ALONG 31W S OF 16N MOVING
W 15-20 KT WITH A 1012 MB LOW ALONG THE AXIS NEAR 11N. THE WAVE
IS EMBEDDED WITHIN DEEP EASTERLY FLOW...BUT UPPER LEVEL WINDS
ARE RATHER STRONG AND HAVE PRODUCED 20-25 KT OF ELY SHEAR OVER
THE SYSTEM. THUS...TSTMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOW/WAVE HAVE BEEN
FOCUSED W OF THE AXIS WITH SCATTERED MODERATE CONVECTION FROM
8N-13N BETWEEN 32W-36W. THE SHEAR SHOULD BEGIN TO RELAX SOMEWHAT
AS THE WAVE MOVES INTO THE CENTRAL ATLC...WITH THE TSTMS TENDING
TO CONSOLIDATE CLOSER TO THE WAVE AXIS.
