Subject: Third Year University Project

Hello :)

I'm a second year student at the University of Hertfordshire studying Sports Therapy and I'm beginning to plan my third year project. I competed in rhythmic gymnastics for many years, and took my Assistant Coaching Qualification a couple of years ago.

I've decided to look at the effects of a strength training program. I may also look at the effects of this on flexibility, and the potential of injury prevention. I've spoken to one of my tutors who specialises in gymnastics and trampolining, and discussed that it would be difficult to find gymnasts at university, and would need to be linked with an external club. I worked with Helen Barber in Northamptonshire, and was wondering whether any Northampton clubs, or clubs in Hertfordshire would be willing for me to implement a simple 6 week strength program at some point later this year?

I'm excited to get involved with gymnastics again, and could begin coaching again, or helping out with the club in general?

I look forward to hearing from you :)

Judith
