I never cease to be amazed how many people do not appear to understand basic equal opportunities and sex discrimination.

Netball like rythmic gymnastics is a female only sport so it is acceptable to refuse to permit boys to join club or to compete - indeed to allow boys could be contrary to equalities law - it is obvious that if you allow boys to join club you could put off girls - Think it was a mistake to allow him to compete - probably made by someone with no understanding of equalities and sex discrimination

Stretch in her earlier message - put it very well - rytthmic gymnastics is a gender affected sport.

Girl guides is similarly exempted
