I think this is all about 2012. BG think that we can't win any medals in RG and so are not worth supporting; they'd rather put the money where they think we can win medals. Catch 22 - no success, no money - no money, no success. Furthermore, without a British entry, they probably won't bother to show RG on TV, and RG will never climb out of obscurity.
I disagree completely; our gymnasts have really climbed up the ladder recently, but even if they don't get medals this time, a British entry and RG on TV will inspire and bring new people in and set us up for medals in the future.
This is the very time that BG should be supporting RG.
