The reason it moved from november to july is to coinside with the international calendar. The girls need to be at their peak in the season around the april to july section of the year, and with the british being in november there was no point. plus the reason for getting rid of the u9 section was that they can concentrate on body skils and apparatus and being part of a group, because lets face it britain could to well internationally if we had a group that worked all year around which is what many of the youngsters will do from now on, not individual. next year the u10 section will also go.As for the under 13 there was no point in it again as there is no u13 sections abroad they all compete together as juniors

for some reason britain doesnt like change. this could be a good thing for the sport if people would give it a chance.
