A rope was seen as 'sporting' a scarf will mean that even more people do not take the sport seriously.

I think back in the 90s when the world cup was held in USA they wanted to change the rules of football to make it more TV friendly by having 4 halves rather than 2 and some how making sure there were more goals ! the proposals were thrown out as underming to the sport
