in this debate we all come in a big circle, the survival of the sport is dependant on the organisation, managers, sponsors,judges,coaches,gymnasts,volunteers, parents,supporters etc.

personal preferences apply not only to supporters, local coaches and parents but to, coaches and national coaches etc. Results must be part of the equation but in order to avoid claims of bias there must be no personal coaches or supporters element, but instead an independent judging/assessing panel independent of club inflence.

British results must and should be a major influence but at the end of the day if a gymnast does not meet the set testing and selection procedure then the decision of the national team must be final.

There have been some very close calls recently including AYOF selection, squad places etc when measured with national results but for the sport to thrive we must remain supportive generally of the existing system.

all our support to the girls who made squad and to those girls who just missed out.
