of course other factors can be involved but coaches have a big part to play and most girls I know who have given up have given up because of the coaches - may be because the coaches are not taking other factors into account and maybe because having dealt with the gymnasts when they were 7 or 8 have difficulty in adjusting to dealing with them properly when they are 13/14. Respect is also important
