I've just got back from Baku. It looks unlikely any of the girls' routines will be available to watch (we couldn't video) so here are my impressions:

Ok, so Frankie's rope went kinda wrong but her ribbon was unforgettable. It was poignant and beautiful. Her ball was neat and highlighted Frankie's fantastic flexibility. Her hoop had us all on the edges of our seats - it was exciting and daring.

We held our breath during Rachel's ball routine - those balls can go anywhere - but Rachel looked confident and assured, and performed a good, clean routine.

Rachel's ribbon was so underscored. We couldn't believe it. There were no major errors; it looked good. What's more she had the whole Azerbaijani crowd behind her. They raised the roof - it was incredible. They cheered her every move and clapped along to the music. Rachel, you gave an amazing performance.

Jade's routines, hoop and rope, were sharp and dynamic.

All 3 girls gave 100%. We were so proud of them. Thank you to their coaches. Well done the whole GBR team.
