I think the reason they have done this is because if you look at last year, the sunday was just a re-run of saturday except maybe 2/3 people.

The individual finals are meant to be the best in that apparatus, not just let everybody have a second chance. So it makes sense to just allow 6 gymnasts through, also it makes the sunday a shorter day like it is suppose to be.

as for the U13 joining with the juniors, i think they may have done this becuase technically they are a junior. if you go aboard they will be in the junior caterogy and it was only a couple of years ago that the U13's were classed as juniors anyway. I dont see a problem personally. its just making the finals show our top elite gymnasts.

As for parents booking 2 nights, i know it might be annoying and money might be tight, but its good for the sport to have as many supportors as possible. this is our biggest competition of the year and we want as many spectators as possible.

I'm very excited for this year's competition as there are more gymnasts in it compared to last year. Best of luck to all of the gymnasts and may the best win.
