St Helens put an item on their News and Events page with a picture of Aimee with Lord Coe, it reads
Following on from Aimee's appearance live on CBBC's "Level up" she was invited to the "Be Part of 2012" Roadshow that visited Old Trafford - She met Lord Coe and had a tour of the grounds. Aimee is being recognised as one of the country's great potential talents for the 2012 Olympics."
After reading that, and then hearing that she has quit, everyone is going to want to know why!
St Helens put her on a pedestal, there is a genuine public interest.
