I would like to say a massive well done to all of the girls who competed last weekend at the British. From past experiences, it is a nerve-wracking competition so congratulations to all who were there. There were too many highlights to write down, but as Nik said, watching Aimee Marsh come back out and do her Rope routine again was a real tear-jerker and showed pure guts (I am slightly biased as I am from St.Helens RGC but I think it's a fair comment). As I am on the subject of St.Helens RGC - well done also to the girls who represented our club to help out with the running, programme selling, medal presentations, march ons, timekeeping, tea making....etc. You were all a credit to the club (along with the girls from Canterbury and Stockport also!). This next year of competition is going to be a good one - the talent in this country is pleasing to see, at all ages/levels.
