Hi girls, here we go again. The continuing saga of girls selected for the British Squad. Most of you know where I stand on this issue and now that Rachel is no longer overall British under 12 champion I can now say what I have always said without there being any hint of sour grapes, that ALL the British OVERALL champions at whatever age group should be automatically selected. Therefore all the other girls, including Rachel, should have to try out for the available places and Nadia, the head honcho, having the final say in the girls selected. If that was the case and my own daughter was not selected I would certainly not have a problem with it as long as it was made clear as to why she did not get in to squad. Other than this, I can think of no other way to keep everyone happy. Please remember girls, this is just my opinion.

A wee bit tongue in cheek girls. No doubt my opinion will change once I am selected to sit at the judges table at the next British and the way things are going I will probably be called up by Nadia to assess the British squad. (aye, that`ll be the day). NIK xxx
