What are the start-up costs?
New consultants with “For Your Pleasure” have 2 ways to start their new exciting career!
1. You may select from several kit options. These are kits that have been specifically designed to start you off with a bang! These kits are truly the best For Your Pleasure has to offer.
Pay $250 and get your 1st Step Kit
Retail Value over $650
Pay $500 and get your 2nd Step Kit
Retail Value over $1250
Pay $1000 and get your 3rd Step Kit
Retail Value over $2500
2. Little short on cash? Have an “Open for Business” show or catalog party!
FYP has a program that will allow you to earn your kit for FREE! You ask, what is an “Open For Business” show? A chance to earn your kit for FREE! If there is another consultant in your area, you can use her kit to have your “Open for Business” Show! Show sales must be $300 or more and we will match your sales dollar for dollar with a kit.
No Sponsor in your area? No problem! You can purchase a Ready Set Go kit (10 color catalogs and 50 order forms) and you can have a catalog party! You can take orders from our color catalogs (10 day period) and sales must be $300 or more. We will consider this your Open For Business Show and match your sales dollar for dollar in a kit. Application fee does not cover normal starter material in this case.
What are the starting commission levels?
The starting commission levels are based upon which option you choose to start your new exciting career. If you purchase one of our three kit business kits, your commission level will start at 40%!
If you choose to have an “Open for Business” show, your commission will start at 35%. Have a $1000 Open For Business party and you are automatically bumped up to 40% commission!!!
Do your consultants have to pay copay’s or pay for their hostess credits?
No! For Your Pleasure doesn’t make their reps pay for anything like this! We have a company 100% paid program! The money you earn is yours to keep!
Can I earn any more money or is this it?
Heaven’s No! “For Your Pleasure” offers Monthly Bonuses based on your personal sales each month! You can earn an additional 5% up to 10% on top of your selling commission! Interested in building your own team of your own? For Your Pleasure awards you even more money! Please see the commission section within this pamphlet for percentages!
You earn this much money? There has got to be a catch!
There is no catch or hidden agenda when you are a For Your Pleasure Consultant. Consultants can choose to work part-time or make For Your Pleasure a full-time career.
What are the Kit Qualification Requirements I have been reading about?
As a new FYP Rep. there are a few requirements you need to fulfill. When submitting your application you need to send with it a 4 show line up. You also, need to become kit qualified within 60 days from the day your kit is shipped. To become kit qualified you must have $1000 in sales within these 60 days. This is required whether you purchase your kit or do an Open For Business show. That’s it! Simple to do when our average party is almost $500 a show. That’s the average, most parties are well over that amount!
Are there any hidden requirements?
Other than our kit qualification requirements above and the requirements listed in this section, there are not any hidden requirements like some adult home party plans.
The only requirements by For Your Pleasure are:
•You must submit a 4 show line-up when you send in your application
•$1000 in sales must be completed within 60 days. This is extremely easy when our shows average $400+ a party!
•Do $150 in sales every 6 months to remain an active consultant
Some party plans make you recruit new consultants, does your company?
No! You only have to recruit new consultants if you want to! If you do, that’s great because you will be on your way to earning more money each month, but if you don’t, you don’t have to! It’s totally up to you!
How long does it take for me to start earning money?
You start earning money your very first show! Consultants make money before For Your Pleasure does!
Do I have to carry around stock?
It is not necessary or even suggested to carry anything but a kit and a smile. FYP did away with our old program years ago that required distributors to carry stock. FYP now has a very streamlined operating structure designed to give you more money with less time invested. We call ourselves "The Working Smarter - Not Harder" Company.
How long does it take to demonstrate a show?
The average show usually lasts about 1 hour. This hour includes a short intermission (if you choose) between lotions/potions and bedroom toys. Much longer than an hour and the attention level of the guests tends to decline.
How much time is involved from the time I submit my orders/shows until it gets to my hostess/customer?
For Your Pleasure Inc. houses its entire inventory. We average 2-3 turnaround (delayed only due to credit card processing—no credit cards processed on a show=same day turnaround in most cases). The process is streamlined. We ship directly to your customers and/or hostesses with everything bagged and labeled individually. The average show ship time from submission by IBA to receipt by Hostess is 7-14 business days.
I have never done this type of work before, is training available?
For Your Pleasure offers the necessary training and support needed to build a strong, successful business. At For Your Pleasure, you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. Your sponsor will be there to answer your questions (near or far). Plus we have an Independent Business Associate support center on-line where you will find printable and downloadable forms, show printouts, current product updates, recognition central, newsletter tidbits, promos, specials, tips, current events and more! Being a rep you will also have access to a company message board, and chat room (for online meetings). You will be invited to attend workshops, education seminars, and the Annual Awards Social. Plus, a company manual will be issued to you along with some real live shows on video to assist in your presentation.
Is there room for advancement?
By sharing your For Your Pleasure opportunity with others, a consultant can self-promote themselves into a management position in a snap! What does adding a down line mean to you? More money each month!
Do you have to collect sales tax and submit yourself?
Yes and No. The FYP IBA is responsible for collecting sales tax when collecting for the sale, however, FYP submits and completes all sales taxes for the IBA. No quarterly sales tax filing is required by the IBA (State, Federal or City).
Who is my boss?
You are! The beauty of FYP is that you are an independent distributor. You set your own hours and goals. Treat your clients the way you would like to be treated and your business is going to be GOLDEN!
How long has For Your Pleasure been in business?
For Your Pleasure began as Rainbow Resource, a New Hampshire based company providing online and mail-order products to the adult community. Due to increasing requests for an intimate setting for demonstrating products, lotions, novelties etc., the wholesale home party division was born. For Your Pleasure began calling the home parties For Your Pleasure Parties. In 1999 For Your Pleasure developed it's streamlined Party Plan and did away with lugging the store. This provided a work smarter...not harder atmosphere for the Independent Business Associates affiliated with FYP.
Our Corporate offices and warehouse cover 9000 sq ft on 2 levels. The President and CEO of For Your Pleasure has over 25 years in business, sales, marketing and finance. Charmaine Bennett is the CEO and President of FYP. Ms. Bennett has an amazing Advisory Board that help guide FYP in the right business directions. Most importantly, all the Advisory Board members are also distributors, so they know what is hot in the market and what is not.
What is the background of the owner/principal involved?
Ms. Bennett has a background in financial, sales, marketing, computer and accounting. She has successfully head FYP for almost a decade.
