I must admit, Fairfield really stinks. The Jaspers are a shell of their former self without Anderson as the lowly Ryders showed with a 20 point blow-out.

Me thinks your man-child coach has to go.

I find it incredulous that not one of you has made any mention of the out right blatant interference of last nights refereeing. The ref's literally and physically took the FU players out of that game and insured a Manhattan win. From the non-ejection of the Manhattan player who basically beat down Carter's face prior to the ending of the first half all the way to the last minutes of the game where the same ref called three bogus calls (a legitimate two person trap was called a foul when the Manhattan player barrelled through, a legitimate received on air pass was called a walk when all the FU player did was land his feet on the ground and the out of no where foul call on Allen when he was just guarding his man on an in bound play. These three calls , when we were one point behind nailed the coffin shut from any legitimate chance of a FU win. All night the calls went against FU players (did any of you notice the huge difference in FU personal fouls vs Manhattan's ? - At one point in the first half it was 10-2). There comes a point when enough is enough. Does anyone honestly believe that our players where given a fair shake at a honest win last night? I am beyond disbelief. There is something corrupt taking place and it is not that our players are not playing good or bad offense/defense. It's pretty tough to play/win when it is five against eight all night!

Guys, no offense.

When garbage like Ryder manhandles Manhattan don't you think that Fairfield (which I believe is BETTER than Ryder) should have done the same in B'Port?

You lost by 5. Did the refs cost you 10 points? So what (if true). You should have blown them out by 20. Manhattan is getting major contributions from Freshman and Sophomores and your coach didn't have a clue to stop their runs.

If Anderson ever returns in future years, Gonzalez and his crew should run the table against the Stags as long as those kids are there.
