Terrible, terrible, terrible news...Fairfield should be embarrassed!!! We have being calling for a return to radio or TV for some time now. It continues to amaze me how little ole Sacred Heart continues to grow their athletics department and now sign a radio deal while Fairfield cuts programs and continues to keep the fact that the Stags play in the AHY a secret. This is a major coup for Sacred Heart and yet another victory over the Stags in winning the hearts and minds of local southern CT sports fans.

I am amazed as well because WICC's strong signal covers a wide area of the state. I live just outside of Hartford and I used to listen to the Stags on WICC pretty clearly.

I had just assumed that WICC ended the relationship because they went ga-ga over UConn like the rest of the media.

Wake up Fairfield, and lock up the AHY home court for the long term!
