Almost 12 ppg for Herbie this week as the Stags went 2-1 with Herbie hitting clutch shots. There have been only a few other that have won this award:

Jon Han
Raul Orta (SPC)
Lamar Johnson (Rider)
Devon Austin (Manhattan) - twice
Kenny Hasbrouk (Siena) - 3 times

Hasbrouk averaged 9.5ppg with 6 assists and 6 turnovers in 2 Siena losses. Herbie averaged 12.3ppg, with 6 assists and 3 turnovers in a 2-1 w

When was the last time we had two different freshman win the MAAC ROW?

MAAC Rookie of the Week

HERBIE ALLEN, FAIRFIELD
Freshman, Guard, 5-8, 170, New York, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin
Allen, a freshman guard, averaged 12.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in a 2-1 week for the Stags. He set a personal best with 17 points in a win over Rider, hitting all six shots from the floor which included a career-high five three-point baskets. Allen's last three-pointer against the Broncs gave Fairfield a five-point lead (83-78) with 28 seconds remaining in the game. He nearly tied that mark with 15 points in a win over Saint Peter’s on Sunday. Allen shot 62 percent from the floor and 64 percent from three-point range.

Congrats to Herbie. His style is great to watch.
Herbie and Han give us great feelings about the future in the back court. Michael V is really stepping up since given the opportunity also.
