NJHoops reports the following:

Top ranked St. Patrick's went down to Metuchen tonight to play Middlesex County power St. Joseph's. The Celtics came out on top 61 - 45 in the battle of top 20 teams. The deep St. Pat's team was led by 6 foot 1 Jr. Corey Fisher and 6 foot 8 Sr. Yannick Formbour-Nono who divided 27 points. Fisher added 6 rebounds.

Would have been nice to get Nono wrapped up in the fall. hope in the spring he sees the opportunity for immediate minutes as a Stag.

[> [> [> Scout.com - Adam Walker update -- JoeStag, 12:45:56pm 01/03/06 Tue, [1]

Stags were mentioned with Adam Walker last year when he was with Christ the King. In a prior story, Walker said he was getting interest from the bigger schools, but he would not mind being a big fish in a small pond at a mid major. Here's is an update from scout.com

Adam Walker, a 6-8, 205-pound unsigned post-grad at Northfield Mount Hermon (Mass.) who played at Christ the King (N.Y.) last season, is averaging 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks over the team's first eight games this season. Walker scored 18 points, had 11 boards and 4 blocks against top-ranked Notre Dame Prep and also had 23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks against New Hampton.

``With such a young team we asked Adam to take the role of leader ont he court," NMH associate head coach John Carroll said. "It is a role he hasn't had to take on before and he has done a tremendous job leading our squad."
