Pitt SF, you remind of the glory years of the 1980s, when the MAAC produced much better rivalries than they do now. The great thing about the league then was you could drive anywhere in the league and make it back that same night! And there was great competition among teams that had such players as Billy McCafferty (HC), Steve Burt and Rory Grimes (Iona), Kevin Houston (Army), Lionel Simmons (La Salle), and of course our own Jerry Hobbie on Fordham. And our two year run with AJ, T George, Gromos, Yerina, TOT, Golden, etc. was certainly very exciting. I do not believe however, that the league was ever split into two divisions.

The MAAC was split into a north/south for like a year when Niagara, Canisius and, I think, Siena joined. They compressed it the year after that when HC, Fordham and Lasalle left.

I will go for a prediction. I think Stags will be hungry for a home win, and win by a bucket. I have not predicted many win so far this year. I thought we would beat St Francis, Tulane and Loyola, and be 3-4 at this point.
