Subject: Iona gets 13 votes in AP top 25 poll
If Iona pulls the upset at Kentucky, they just may crack the Top 25. Does JS or anyone know when the last time a MAAC team was in the Top 25? I think it was LaSalle in the late 80's, but I'm not sure. If they can do it, this really helps the league's RPI bigtime, but UK looked tough Saturday.

MAAC teams have got votes before, but those Lasalle teams actually cracked the top 25 or top 20. I do not think any team was in the rankings before or after that.

I have to check but I thought that Manhattan in 1996 cracked the top 25 for a week. In the middle of researching it. I'LL FOLLOW UP

The game is available on ESPN Full Court. I see that you guys are not slated to play on Friday, so I might as well invite those of you who are local to join us at Bobby V's in Stamford for the game. Games like this are always fun because expectations are low; the only way I'll be pissed about losing is if we are assraped by the officials.
