Subject: The Mirror - Playing Small Ball

Another good story by Ben Doody of the Mirror. I was able to meet Ben Doody out in Iowa, and I told him how I really enjoyed reading his stories. Much more than just a recap, and better insite into the team than the past stories from the Mirror. Some insight on one player commenting on another:

Todd commenting on Han

"Despite only being a freshman, he's showed that he can play with anybody, including teams like Iowa and all the top teams," said Terrance Todd '06. "He's doing a really good job so far and hopefully it continues."

MVS commenting on Todd

"Terrance just took over, and as soon as Terrance took over, I knew we were going to win because they didn't have anybody who could guard him," Van Schaick said.

Middleton commenting on Himself

"I feel like I had an all right game, but I can always do better. I had an opportunity to play a lot of minutes today, so I'm just looking to contribute the most that I can," Middleton said.

Scott Apuzzo highlights how this team has seemingly has turned it around, and then sets his expectations for Student turnout on Friday.

"In my column last week, I commented on the student attendance at home games. I will excuse the students for not showing up to the game last Monday against Providence because the team was coming off a 31 point drubbing at the hands of Saint Joseph's. But with the Stags' recent success, there is no reason why the student section should not be packed on Friday night."
