This guy is an absolute nut job. He screams at his players one minute, goes after them as if he's going to cold cock them and then comes out on the court after a time out and high fives and hugs them the next. He runs up and down the sidelines all over the court. He's like a sixth defender. A couple times during the game you could hear him jumping up and down and stamping his feet. The back of his suit jacket was soaked through ith sweat after the game. This guy is certifiable. I'll predict he will do something really stupid before this year is over. I wouldn't let my kid play for him.

Maybe he thinks that guy at Manhattan is someone he should emulate. And when will the refs finally start calling the technicals on these guys who stray beyond the coaching box?

...and his team is 5-0.

When coaches who act like that are on your side, they are called master motivators.

When they are on the opponent's side, they are called lunatics.

Kudos to Patsos. Whatever he is doing seems to be working. It's been a longtime coming for the 'Hounds.

Stagman, you are 100% right. What I saw was a coach with great enthusiasm. He was fun to watch. Moreover at least from I what could tell, he knows what he is doing. He had his guys well prepared. This team is not what we have come to expect of Loyola. The program seems to be moving in the right direction.

I would love to play for a coach like that, as long as he was not abusive to his players.

There is nothing wrong with a big-time cheerleader on the sidelines.
