if the game were this Friday, rather than a week from this Friday.

It will be 12 days between Marist and the Wildcats. Time enough to loose their edge? Hope not.

At least Kentucky get Louisville before then.

Whatever happens it always could be worse. Win or lose chances are they might be able to sneak a peek at Ashley Judd in a ridiculously tight T-shirt shaking her pom-poms.

Go MAAC!

Those who have followed Iona during the Ruland tenure know that he gets absolute chubs for games like this. And now he has 12 days to prepare.

Not sure if we win, but we'll put the fear of God into them.

Could be good or bad that they're facing Louisville. If UK wins the game, clearly all of their emotions would focus on that win and they could easily look past a silly little mid-major that's next on their slate, even if they do have a gaudy record. If UK loses, the team will begin to doubt itself and there will be immense pressure on them to win their next time out. This would greatly favor an Iona team that frankly would be playing with house money.
