have spoken to a bunch of people at this game who said Patsos is an absolute nutcase. Was flipping the bird and using four letter words toward fans.

He is a ticking bomb. A few well placed students friday can set him off. Please someone take pictures :)

"A few well placed students friday can set him off" .........................................................now that would be fun, wouldn't it? Almost like Stag crowds of the 70S.
Of course, we cannot depend upon the Stag mascot for much help. I've never seen such a worthless mascot.

Why would you criticize the mascot? Please.

We need SUPERFAN!!! Does anybody know SUPERFAN from the late 80s? Can you ask him if he is interested in coming out of retirement?

Are you serious? At the Providence game everyone in my area was criticizing the Stag mascot. It provided absolutely no entertainment.
Why have a mascot when its going top sit in a chair most of the game?

The mascot's problem is he/she is too short. We need more height from our mascot. Superfan was in the Class of '83 (Tim Sheridan - currently living in Chicago).

I know SUPERFAN, but unfortunately the trip to the Arena for Friday's game is a little far for him to go. If I recall correctly, he handed the title to another in a subsequent class but it just died out.

Think subsequent late 80s superfans were: Paul Fabri (Trish Sacca's husband) and Bob Paca. Think there was a fight in the stands involving the superfan vs. some visiting fans(FU-Marist(w/ Rik Smits) game). After that the superfan was no more.

I remember passing Bob Pacca person by person overhead up the stands of the Red Sea when he was Superfan. It's a shame the students today don't know what that environment was like.
