For those who sell on Ebay and have been suspended or reported..Yes there are people who go around reporting auctions, all because the majority of the replica bags I've seen on Ebay, always have things showing to give their bags away as being a replica, and there are a lot of bags being sold on Ebay with incorrect markings or incorrect accessory items, that gives the bag away to the authentic bag sellers and buyers, to let me the know the bag is a replica.
There is also the Ebay discusson forum where people come and post auction numbers of other sellers on Ebay for other posters to review, because they know the sellers bags are replicas, and they make sure these auctions are reported. Oner poster who refrequents their forums boast and brags about how they report over 100 auctions a day or more on Ebay. You would think they were going to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for doing so. I read these discussion forums on Ebay quite frequently, although I never post, but I just like to read the Ebay Discussion forums to see what other Ebayers are posting regarding other sellers replica bags, and needless to say, there is always something that gives the bag away as being a replica, even if everything else is correct, there is always 1 or 2 dead give aways to let others know the bag they're selling is a replica.
I've been selling on Ebay now for 4 years. I sell authentic designer bags, and I've only sold replica bags that I know are 100% exact. Grade AAA bags are very plentiful now on Ebay, and it's also gotten out on all of the authentic message boards that Ebay is known for replica bags now, so it makes it hard to even sell a replica without a buyer running to have the bag authenticated. That's why it's very important to have an LV bag or and any other designer bag on Ebay that's 100% exact, to help deter or not give the buyer suspicions that they've purchased a replica, especially if they're an authentic handbag buyer. The biggest flaws I see on these Grade AAA, 2005 LV bags is that the majority of them lack 6 point torque screws, which is a must for me to even sell on Ebay. These newer LV style bags all have 6 point torque screws or white plastic tips on the S-locks for certain styles, which the majority of the Grade AAA bags do not have, even if they do have correct lining and symmetry, they still lack the correct hardware, and I also see new 2005 LV bags with invalid date codes, which alerts others the bag is a replica as well.
Selling a Grade AAA bag is not like selling a true mirror bag or an authentic one, so naturally there will be a risk in being either reported or having your auction removed, all because your auction displays the inevitable...flaws. Also the prices are just way too low for people to even think the bag is authentic as well.I also see a lot of replica sellers with incorrect accessories, which also gives their bags away as being a replica as well, so being in the know of what goes with an LV bag and knowing every single detail about the bag you're selling and how it's supposed to be made will help you last longer on Ebay, and by you knowing this, you won't purchase bags to sell with the flaws as quickly, or you can give info to your supplier to make certain they're selling you a correctly made bag.
There are just way too many obvious replicas on Ebay now, and there are a lot of people who report auctions because of that, which Ebay has become known for. You have to know what you're doing and also be aware of the quality bag you're selling on Ebay, which from what I'm seeing now...the replica bags are being very easily spotted and reported by others, all because the majority display obvious flaws. I've even read in the discussion forums where they count the stitching and know how many stitches belong where on different portions of the bag. Selling on Ebay is risky if you do not possess a correctly made bag these days, or at least you don't want others to suspect your bag is a replica, just by looking at your bag. Also not taking close-ups, ommitting important features or photos on the bag, just makes a buyer more skeptical, or even if they do purchase your bag, they eventually will take it to be authenticated once they receive your Grade AAA bag and spot the flaws. I read about this all the time. So one must be careful when they sell on Ebay. It's a chance you take when you're not selling a true mirror bag or an authentic one.
