It made me sad. It made me mad. I miss Nick Davis. I miss Joe and Ruth. And I was thrilled to see Agnes Nixon. McCrackhead has done a fairly decent job recently of tying new stories to characters' histories and tying new characters (and not too many of them) to stories old and new. For the most part, the newbies are propping the golden olden ones, not so much the other way around (except for that slut Babe and I hope Bianca comes clean with JR - please please please let someone, anyone do the right thing right off the bat just one fucking time). I'm actually glad it took so freaking long for Bianca to get her baby back. Having it coincide with the anniversary - and the visits from real family members - made it worth the wait, a pleasant surprise (for once). And (kill me now) I even sort of got into Kendall and Greenlee mending fences. If I had Ethan, I'd be more likely to forgive and forget, too.

Actually, maybe Ethan is why I'm willing to forgive and forget Comateo, Kit Fisher, and Thorsten Kay's insufferable past alter egos. That, and watching Erica and Jack cobble together a family that makes sense for them. And seeing Tad struggle with watching JR and Jamie repeat some of Tad's history with Adam (Babe is no Dixie, and the circumstances are different, but I like that Jamie is so much like his dad).

Happy Anniversary, AMC!
